I had someone ask a few questions and thought that I would take a moment to answer them:

So when are you leaving sparks for a very long time?
The end of June. We are anticipating being commissioned from our church June 23-24 and (we actually have tickets!) to arrive in Kenya July 31.

Is Jaden's school included in your monthly expenses or is that an extra expense?
It is in our monthly support that we have raised, so there will be no additional monthly expenses for us.

Do other missionaries kids go there and/or do people from the "church' you will be working with do their kids go there?
It is a missionary kid school, there will be kids from all different missions and countries, I think there are 37 languages spoken at her school. Currently there are no other kids from our team going there, they attend Nairobi West, where it is anticipated that Jaden will go next year. (She will be in a different school this year to be closer while we are in language school).

Do you have any clue where you are going to live?
NO! Close to the other members of our team, but not in the same compounds. We will live in housing for the school during language school and then move to a more permanent home when we are done in December.

Are you apprehensive?
Yes, there are so many unknowns for me at this point that I am not really sure what to expect. I like to have "control" over things. Imagine that. I worry about doing the wrong things, socially that is.

Colorado Springs, again.

We are in Co Springs for our last training. Getting close! The truck will be at our house to pick up things on the 6th or 7th. Ugh! We will be home on the 2nd! Talk about quick packing. Please pray for this as we will have to make a detailed list of all of the contents of each box, so this will take longer than just tossing stuff. Need to be off for training now! Let me knw how you all are doing and if we can pray for anything for you.

We have a date!

August 1st is our target for landing in Kenya. We will spend four months in language school, then holiday for Christmas, then - spend two weeks in a Kenyan home on the outskirts of Nairobi! I am so excited about that! We are infact, at 98.4% funding! Only $104 left! God has blessed us so overwhelmingly. Thank you all!

95%!

We are getting closer to go! 95% financed so we are ready for an official date. Still just need a little more financing, but not too much. Here are some pictures of our language school and the link to their website (www.sslckenya.net) so you can see where we will be spending the first four months. We are planning a departure with trips to: Las Vegas, New Mexico, Atlanta, Cleveland and New Hampshire with a departure from Boston to Kenya! Can you believe it? Me nether!
